<![CDATA[Gustav's MegaDrive/Genesis/Sega-CD collection]]>I started collected MegaDrive/Genesis games in the year 2000. Of course, I played MegaDrive games with friends in the 90's, but I bought my own MegaDrive only in 2000. I used the Internet and eBay to get the games I have always wanted for cheap (Phantasy Star series, Shining Force series, Thunder Force series...). 90% of the games sold for $10~$20 and there were very few 8/16 bits collectors in the West. In fact, I paid through the nose only for Eliminate Down (this year) and Battle Mania Daiginjou (last year). There was already a big market for used retro video games in Japan, but in Europe and in the US, very few people cared. They were all busy playing Playstation 2 or Dreamcast games, and magazines did not broach the subject.

Il m'en reste encore plus de 50 à prendre en photos. Je compte faire la même chose pour toutes les collections que j'ai terminées (Super Famicom, PC Engine, Playstation, Neo Geo) mais c'est assez chronophage.

Oui, Soleil en PAL passe en 60 Hz de mémoire, contrairement à La legende de Thor.

Sur MD, l'US et le PAL sont bien souvent aussi dégueulasses l'un que l'autre de toutes façons :laughing: Je prenais souvent des versions PAL car elles étaient plus simples à se procurer et les versions US étaient souvent protégées. (Impossible de faire passer Shining Force US ou Phantasy Star IV US sur ma MD PAL switchée par exemple)

J'ai 90 jeux maintenant que j'ai revendu mon Thor PAL (doublon avec la version japonaise), et c'est très bien. J'aimerais maintenant remplacer mon Phantasy Star II jap avec un Phantasy Star II US (sur Genesis donc) complet avec la map et le hint book.

Quand je vois le tarif aujourd'hui du guide du 4.... Heureusement que je m'y suis pris assez tot , aujourd'hui c'est une horreur , d'autant que le guide à l'interieur est tout en N&B , on est loin de la beauté du 3 voire meme du 2.
